The 81st Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) is in New Orleans this year and as usual, a large contingency from the Columbia University Medical Center Department of Neurological Surgery is in attendance. Most of our neurosurgeons are presenting, moderating or directing courses as are residents and medical students and others are there to soak up the many lectures and seminars.
