All of our surgeons are committed to providing ever better care to their patients. Attending this yearly meeting goes a long way toward doing just that. The professional diversity and state-of-the-art research presented during this five day event provides incredible growth for our neurosurgeons and the neurosurgery community at large.
This year’s meeting is marked also by a number of special guest speakers outside the neurosurgery community. These include: Clayton M. Christensen, renowned expert on business innovation and growth, and Harvard Business School professor; Robert Gates, 22nd U.S. Secretary of Defense (2006-2011); Sir Bob Geldof, musician, corporate speaker and political activist; and Jaron Lanier, musician, computer scientist and author. See the AANS Meeting Highlights to learn more about these speakers.
We will be posting photos and more information about each of our neurosurgeons’ activities as the meeting gets underway. You can also learn more about the 82nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons here.
