Every year US News and World Report comes out with a list of the Best Hospitals in the country and once again New York-Presbyterian University Hospital of Columbia and Cornell has not only made the list, but the Honor Roll as well. The Honor Roll makes up only 0.4% of the nearly 5,000 hospitals considered. Further, Columbia has been ranked Number One Hospital in the State of New York and Number One Hospital in the New York Metropolitan Area. Of course, the honors we are most proud of are within our specialty of neuroscience; we have been named Number Four in the Nation and the following 8 doctors from our department are listed as best neurosurgeons.
