Dr. Paul McCormick, Director of The Spine Hospital at The Neurological Institute of New York, has been named a “Top Doctor” once again. He is recognized in three of the latest medical guidebooks: the 2015 Castle Connolly’s America’s Top Doctors, America’s Top Doctors for Cancer, and Top Doctors: New York Metro Area.
This level of recognition is not new to Dr. McCormick. He was included in the very first edition of America’s Top Doctors 14 years ago. Ten years ago, the very first edition of America’s Top Doctors for Cancer also featured Dr. McCormick. He has been included in both guidebooks every year since.
The guides recognize Dr. McCormick for his expertise in treating spinal tumors as well as other types of spinal surgery. (For example, Dr. McCormick also specializes in treating spine stenosis, herniated discs, vascular malformations, and degenerative spinal disorders.)
To read more about Dr. McCormick, watch a video story about one of his patients, or even take a look through his surgical microscope,* visit Dr. McCormick‘s bio page here.
*Note: The videos that give a look through the surgical microscope are interesting, but graphic, videos of spine surgery. Dr. McCormick made the videos in order to help other spinal surgeons, and the videos were published in the Journal of Neurosurgery: Spine. They should be viewed only by interested adults.
