We’re pleased to announce that U.S. News & World Report has once again ranked our own NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital the No. 1 hospital in New York State. And we know we could not do this alone. So, this Thanksgiving week and always, we are thankful for our team of dedicated medical professionals AND our wonderful patients who help us stay No. 1.
Each year U.S. News & World Report evaluates data from approximately 5,000 hospitals and compiles a list of the best hospitals in the region, as well as the nation. We have been named the No. 1 hospital in the region for 18 years straight.
And that’s not all.
We also made the Honor Roll again, and we are listed as one of the top ten hospitals in the nation. In the specialty neurology and neurosurgery, we ranked fifth in the nation. To be nationally ranked by U.S. News in a specialty, a hospital must excel in caring for the patients who are the sickest, most medically complex.
You can read about these kinds of patients in our stories below:

We are proud to be among the doctors, nurses and other clinicians at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients.
