Dr. McCormick Named 2019 “Super Doctor”

The list is created by the firm MSP Communications and appears in a variety of publications across the country, one of which is The New York Times Magazine. To come up with the prestigious list, MSP Communications asks doctors to nominate exceptional doctors—those they would choose should they or their families need medical care. (Self-nominations, of course, are not permitted.) To complement these peer nominations, MSP Communications performs its own search for the most outstanding doctors. With a pool of candidates in hand, the research firm then performs an extensive vetting process in which candidates’ training, experience and qualifications are evaluated and scrutinized. The doctors who pass the vetting are recognized as Super Doctors, a status earned by only approximately 5 percent of the doctors within a given state or region.
